Desert War Series - the 25 pounder

Desert War Series - update "Fiat-Spa TL37"

Beautiful work, congratulations. I really like the weathering of vehicles! (y)

Desert War Series - update Italian "Autoblinda"

Hi all

Autoblinda recon vehicle.
Most of us probably had some troubles with Italeri in the past.
But in fact this kit is really good according to nowadays standards.
Nice detail, good fit, little flesh and almost none of the infamous Italeri sink marks.
Only flaw is the lack of some transparent plastic for the lights.
I might buy more in the future if this is the new Italeri !

Pics are replaced by better ones so pls ignore the remarks about "blue" metal and gunshield !

looking good,Willem! (y)

You moved the barrel down,so you can see the bare plastic on the axis.Might want to paint that either? ;)

I like the contrast between the inside of the hatch and the sun bleached outside of the vehicle.
Maybe you can use some sort of photoshop to get rid of the unwanted blue color and show the metal color.
It might have to do with the light or light source you are using.

The last picture seems to have a more natural look to the metal parts.

Greetings,Ron.

Desert War Series - update Italian "Autoblinda"

Dont worry about the gun, Ron, it will be up on the diorama, that was the idea ;)

Dio will soon be ready and maybe I get better pictures then, with artificial light.

Desert War Series - update Italian "Autoblinda"

Might want to try more light on the subject to get correct colors. I poked at the image in Irfanview but didn't get the blue out.

Fine looking build :soldier

Desert War Series - quad gun tractor

Hi all

Tamiya's old Quad gun tractor revival, pretty dusty.
The limber and 25 pounder will follow soon.
Hardest part are the figures(from the 70-ties) with low-detailed faces.
Will do all the possible.

Inside:
Ignore the mess around the engine, will be invisible with the hood on.
