Good point Phil . I thought of a replacement panel but I don't really know what the primer color would have been for one of these .
After all Blohm and Voss were really ship builders . At any rate a bare metal panel would have been good on a sea plane .
Anyhow, this is what I accomplished today . The gloss coat is still tacky .
I have plenty more ideas for the paint job, so I don't think it'll be boring .
I also managed to miss a small touch place on this monster . As I said, you can't turn and flip this thing over enough times on any session to see it all.
