BV 138 Flying Clog

Well James, I couldn't tell you. I don't count how many kits I've built or how much time I've spent otherwise the fun would evaporate .

I can tell you that the booms used up a full tube of super glue gel ).10 OZ plus the accelerator :coolio

Hey Christian,

You've done such a fine job on this so far, it doesn't even look like the same kit that came out of the box.

Thanks Luiz and Warren for the positive comments :coolio

Not much to brag about here but a step forward none the less . Found some issues as I was getting the boat ready for paint ( amazing ) .

Fixed those over the weekend and finally shot the bottom blue this morning .

Probably would not even notice if I didn't point that out . Looks very much the same :idonno

Hope to get a coat of Future on this evening.Let that cure before continuing .

Cheers, Christian B)

Look how smooth, outstanding Chris, can't see any flaw, looks like a Tamiya kit in the finishing stage. :notworthy

Hi Christian,

As always, it is a treat to follow your journey with these unique builds (y) (y) (y)

Love the work stands :dude

Randy

Thanks Randy .
Plenty of adventure left in this one yet . The lower section already used up three times more paint that I normally use in a build . :eek:hmy:

I have not yet decided whether I'm going to add the white blotched to the paint yet but I'm leaning in that direction :side:

Cheers, Christian B)

PS,. The stand is totally recycled materials except for the staples . 0.0 $ for this custom made stand :rotf

Hey Chris . Nice of you to drop by .

If you read the blog you'll discover that the only Clog in 1/72 is this one and it's not a rehab.

It's a brand new build, but yes, I do rehabs from time to time also.

Here's one I did a few years ago.

Finally sprayed the last color on the Clog ! :yipee

Trying to paint this thing was as much fun as arm wrestling with an octopus :fencing

Really anxious to see what it looks like but instead fo pulling the tape off and scratching the paint up I'll just go to the gym. Give it some time to cure :vmad

Thanks for looking . Cheers, Christian B)
