Butch the A-20G-35-DO last one from the 2nd batch

The R2D (Resin 2 Detail) upgraded engines are sublime...

While looking for missing parts, came across a bag with all these figures. Brought back memories of how many kits I USED to finish!

The plastic boxes on the top left are from Teknics, the one at top right with red cardboard header is Reheat, but I don't recall the white metal ones. Almost all the plastic figures, except André the Giant, pointing to the Reheat red label, seem to be from Monogram kits. The only kit with paratroopers was the C-47. The one on all fours to the left of the light gray giant is probably from the P-61 Black Widow kit. I see one Clark tractor driver from the Liberator kit and many from others.

Guns, guns, guns! From Resin2Detail. Made for the B-17 but I 'll take all without the flash hiders. Also, full 50 Cal for the flxible guns... At the top right is a 72nd scale set of gun barrels (although I can't think of a project in 72nd scale that needs them):

Not a fan of resin guns as they always seem bent to me :) like those ones for shooting round corners ;-). I am sure there is a way to straighten them but i never found it. It was always a problem with the resin detail kits from Eduard and Aires.

I found a way to perfectly straighten was by an immersion into very hot water, allow them to relax into the shape they were in the mold using its 'memory' then carefully and slowly remove from the hot water. Never failed and I have a video somewhere. I'll update this when I find it. It is here.

The issue here is that these are 3D printed and not sure of the resin behavior. So, I will test it and post. In any case, I have spare metal barrels for them.
