For the last couple of weeks I had to put the P-38 on hold just to let off some steam and to complete a group build campaign that was started at my local hobby club. The build theme was MiG 21s. I chose the MiG 21 MF from Eduard in 48 scale.While not my best build I think I have found the nuances of this kit and if and when I decide to do another I should be ready.
I did this as a whiffer from JA-334 and have it as a test subject for Hartman's study. since there weren't any decals for this MiG representative to my idea I use an old set of Academy decals from a couple of F-86s. Talk about a bear that what those were. It took me about half of my solvaset and microsol just to get them to behave. Not all of the bits are on and I chose to keep the external tanks off.
