Beautiful spring day in Cool Pool

So it was a very nice day in Cold Lake (Cool Pool) today and decided to take a walk down by the Marina. Took some pics of the lake. Ice is starting to rot so maybe the lake will be open end May early June.
A balmy +6 when we went and took these pics.

That's a Cold Lake...how thick would that ice be now? Is Ice Fishin' big up there?

Yes it is. Looks about a foot 2 foot thick still. Wouldnt drive the truck on it though as its looking rotten.

It freezes around Dec, but isnt safe until Jan or so.

We had a cold snap here, only got up to 55f (that's 12.7777777c). Should be back up to the 80s (26.66666666) tomorrow.
