Mike, Ian; awesome work you two. Both of those are magnificent.

I have a 1/72 scale conversion for that M-51 Isherman; I do need to get started on it. Thanks for the motivation.

What's on my workbench can be seen in my Manufacturing Thread.

Thanks guys and keep it coming!

Wow! That is one sensational lineup! I do hope to see all those finished someday. I really can't wait to see the B-36 done.

Keep them coming!

Trumpeter's 1/72 Wellington, not planing on finishing it until someone makes some decals I like for it, Printscale has some in the works apperantley so hopefully the will have a Canuck plane in there somewhere.

Would paint masks help with your markings search? That's something I could help you out with.

Not much going on on my workbench other that cracking open a Dremel tool to get the lock pin working again so I can use my Dremel router table for bases. I did have to replace the glass in one section of a window in our den, the one that looks out onto the porch. Friday morning the mailman delivered two packages and left them on the porch. Well, Rommel and Ryker both ran in the den to bark at the mailman. They both hit the window sill at the same time causing the pane of glass to flex, hit the end of the railing and break. So, I spent the next couple of hours getting a sheet of clear acrylic and the moulding that holds the payne in place and carefully replacing the broken window pane. Needless to say, none of the pups run and put their paws up on the window sill anymore.

Looking good so far. I like it, especially that interior.

I have three ships, three helicopters and about four or five vehicles again....

I would be very interested. I don't have any specific markings in mind at the moment other then I'm hoping for a Canadian machine, assuming you need to make something up rather then having something already designed.

Well, on the bench today at work is the driver side window switch and power lock panel out of my wife's GMC Yukon XL. The panel itself was so loose in the bezel that if you pressed the rear window switch too hard it would almost completely fall out of the bezel. And to top it off, yesterday the driver window switch came off completely.

Well, on my break I walked outside and took the whole assembly out of the Yukon. After a good cleaning and inspection, I found out that two of the tabs on the bezel were broken off. So, I broke out my modeling travel box, I keep it at work because everyone comes to me to glue stuff back together because I build models, and a small piece of styrene I keep to make patches. A little measuring, cutting and test fitting and bam, problem one fixed.

Next up was to glue the window switch back in place.

Fortunately, the plastic that the panel and switch is made of takes plastic weld great. Everything snuggled down into place. Just saved us $200 inf parts. And I did test it and everything works.

And in case you were wondering, my supervisor, the complex superintendent, walked by as I was installing the switch. I told him what I was doing and he said that's why he tells everybody to come see me to fix things like this.

Gee, thanks.

You know what they say, a penny saved is a penny earned, so know you can blow $199 on model stuff and still pat yourself on the back for your financial prowess :good: (at least that would be my claim to fame :D )

For the walkway I was trying to acquire what I finally achieved under the high flying portapotty :zen stil quite happy with what I've managed to accomplish so far

ON the bench is the C-141 with some putty work on the wing to fuselage joint, the B-26 gunner's canopy nearly done with the fillet work between the canopy and horizontal stabilizer, and the prop for the FM-2 assembled.

Very nice work guys.

I feel like Charlie Brown in the Peanuts Halloween special when everyone got candy and Charlie kept getting rocks.. Everyone is showing off their models in progress and I'm like "I picked up the riding mower from the repair shop and cut the grass." I also bottled glue this weekend.

Kenny, ain't nothing wrong with taking care of business. I also love your glue; it is helping tremendously with several of the projects on my bench now. I'll be leaning heavily on it when it comes time to add all that photo etch to my ships. Be glad yo are healthy enough to do all that. I'm still fighting this back pain; the only thing that helps me deal with it is building models!
