All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

I don't have a picture yet, but I got a bit of modeling done last night. Received my new sprue cutters yesterday, the ones Ron reviewed. WOW What a setup. Sharp and just WOW. I tried them on some itsy bitsy parts from my Hawk and they did a smashing job. Very happy. I hope when I next get to the bench I can paint the chassis for my M1114. It looks like my extras should arrive today or tomorrow for it. Unfortunately my neck is starting to really ache and I can feel the headache coming on so I'm not thinking I will have any modeling time tonight unfortunately.
Pics when the camera charges.
James

Hang in there James, hope you feel better.

I'm going to check the mail box, maybe mine has showed up. :ro:

Thanks guys. No modeling today. Here is a pic but its hard to see the little twist handles I glued on around the turret race.

Ditto, Mine came in the other and and I've already chunked my old ones. Thansk for the heads up on this. (y)

Yeas again thanks Ron.

So I managed to get some more of the Hawk done. Launcher is almost finished. Body is almost finished, and Missiles are almost finished. Going to start painting soon. Some very fiddly bits of modeling here and some of the construction aspects are just a major pain in the gluteus maximus. Stuff just tacked together at the moment.

Hey Ron,

I've had a pair of those for a long time, in fact, I probably need a new pair. How long have they been around? Could it be possible I bought them in Belgium? I can't remember? They're my favorites and I have maybe 20 pair!

Bob

Thanks Bob. No the Humvee will be the desert coloured and the Mim 23B will be IDF Grey from Israel. I haven't had a lot of luck finding pictures of an Iranian one but then the guys just need to know what it looks like.
The kit does have markings for a Desert Marine version though.

OH, well, I was just thinking that two colors would look better than one. It will make it stand out!

A really different model!

Hiya Bob,as I understand it the DSPIAE Single Blade Nipper 2.0 comes from China and is exported to Japan,Europe,Singapore and other countries.I ordered mine from Breveco here in the Netherlands.

It's the first time I did hear about them recently.Never had the opportunity to use single bladed ones,
I do like them very much!...I wasn't aware of other brands having Single Bladed ones as well. :idonno
