Aftermarket Ideas...Anybody Listening?

Ever have a great idea but since you don't own an AM company you don't know what to do with it?

Well, here's mine...With all the great bike kits coming out in 1/35...how about some Photo Etch
cylinder heads?

Don't laugh...I think they would be easy to assemble. Just have a couple of alignment holes
and stack them up on two pieces of rod. The injection molding process always seems a bit lacking
in these little parts of the motor, and this would make them really sharp!

And I want royalties!!!

Any other ideas?

I can see the layered PE working for cooling fins, good idea.

My idea, US Bazookas.. I know most of them were just pipes with a battery in the grip hooked to them but they also had some flarings on either or both ends. They got all sorts of cool Panzerboomsticks things out there. Why not a Bazooka?

This has been done (oil coolers instead of cylinder banks). While for aircraft, it is the same principle. Swash Designs of Japan and PART of Poland both have done this.

Why not write to them directly as I am 100% sure they do not read English modelling forums.

PE Jet exhaust and PE canopy railings. I know some manufacturers have made the jet exhaust in a couple of kits, but would love see this a more widespread habit. And the canopy railings would make painting those much easier.

Canopy railings (on which canopies slide) or frames?

If the latter, PART of Poland includes them in most of their sets.

As an example, the above is a set for Hobbycraft's Bf-109B/C/D kit.

Saul I meant to say frames- I know the inside rails are pretty common. Thanks for pointing out that BF 109 set.
