Accurate Miniatures/Aero Master SBD 3 or 4 LTD Ed

Looking good Gerry-- yeah AM really did their homework on this one...right down to the combination lock you mentioned in the other thread.

Yeah I still have the bits leftover when I built it...was thinking of doing something with it like a crash dio or something...but there isn't a spare set of wings so I'm limited ;)
 
Ok I received my Dauntless book ... Not a lot of help other than some interior shots and what not ... No Torch photos ... But I just perused the book ... I was hoping for a bit more info ... but a book is a book ... Maybe closer examination will help ... :skipper ... The Texas's (I Hope) are on a different shipment ... I'm fixin to go and check Squadron's web sight ... :idonno :ro: :dude

Now in the instructions these parts are all reported to be Interior Green ... everything ... Not much color in the Squadron Book ... :idonno

Well as for a crash Dio crumpled styrene is just that ... You should be able to make a wing or two ... don't never say never ... it can be done I was hoping for more extras ... you could always do a Fuse on the ground or stands with bits missing like she almost stripped completely ...

Thanks Mike ... That purdy Much answers the Questions ... I was a little let down by the Squadron book ... Between you & Ed I have a fair chance at making this Bird Sing !!! ... Another thing hit the fan Yesterday My BB-35's were canceled :bat ... :bat Seems Squadron over sold the order ... Or some other person sucked mine up :fencing ... :bat I'm promised 3 more their on the water now ... :captain

I found my small drill so I'll be drilling the Holes in the little side piece Here ... .080 drill ... for my hanging from the crane cables .... I noticed that the meatal end was there .... who knows there may be some styrene yet for this in the Kit ....

Not much to update I have all of these things ... side instrument panels ... cleaned, scraped & glued in place I'll finish tonight ... Last night I had bad news from Landlady (Pay up on Rent or get out) by Sept 15, not even 30 days notice ... thing is I'm having to go back and find where Her Bookkeeper screwed the pooch ... So nuff said Ed if your gonna bring that truck better Hurry ... I'll put your stuff in the mail today ...

P.S. I forgot this morning I was cutting out the exhaust pipes on the resin Motor lost 2 of them ... in my metal catch can but dern if I can see them :skipper ... Or smell them ... either :skipper :stinker
