There is at least one place in Japan for that price including shipping .
There are others at similar prices.
You might also look on Amazon .

Looks genuine, the seller's feedback has multiple Iwata sales, $9 EMS is a good deal to check one out without too much worry. If it was China I may suspect it's a knock-off, but I'm sure Iwata would be all over it if fakes were being sold on the Home Islands.
I order stuff direct from Japan all the time, from Tamiya 1/16 RC tanks to that Fujimi Claude last week, so I've got no qualms with taking the plunge, just have no disposable scratch at the moment. Soon as the hobby budget fills up again, I'll be all over one.

Good for you James . I ordered some point last night but that was only around $ 5
I'm always a bit nervous when I need to clean that small nozzle . Too much opportunity for mayhem :facepalm Wish I felt the same about the $ 160 airbrush as I think it would be a good long term investment .
