Thanks to PaulW, I was able to meet Scotty Wilson a few years before the fateful day. He was in a hanger at Harvey Young airport in Tulsa. I was given permission to give everything a good close look and took quite a few photos. At the time he was working on one of the fuel tanks. The plane was apart and on jig stands. The main wing was on one jig and the fuselage was on another, so I was really able to take a close look at everything. Scotty talked about the plane, project and showed me how everything worked. To be honest it looked a lot like a very large RC model project. The build processes and how it looked were just like a quality RC model would have looked in the rear compartment.
I will post some of those photos through the build. Sad to say I only have the one photo of Scotty. He was doing what made him happy and at the time was looking forward I am sure to flying the P100.
