Well Guys, tomorrow is a milestone for me. I was born on May 11th, 1941, about 6 months before Pearl Harbor.

Tomorrow, I will have made it to the three quarter mark of a century! Never dreamed I would make it this far, but, here I am!

I can't believe that I could possibly be 75 years old! Just saying'! Those last 25 years went by so fast I have been hearing wind rushing by my ears since! :yipee

It just so happens that May 10th was my ETS day out of the active army.
I left the active army and the 82nd Airborne Division at midnight on May 10th 1988.
28 years ago. Your not kiddin how time flies.

Thanks Tim,

28 years ago was a long time for anybody.

I went into the army on October 27th, 1958. I was sent to Verdun France in November 1959. I was supposed to do a 20 month tour of duty as a combat engineer there. However two weeks before my ETS, This guy named John Fitzgerald Kennedy extended my tour of duty indefinitely because of the Berlin Crisis. I finally learned my new ETS was February 2nd, 1962. That, too, was a really long time ago! :yipee
