It's late gonna hit the sack ...

Status German Sub finished & primed ... Ready for final paint

French Sub is all together except I mis-placed the rudder ... I'll scratch one in the Am ... :woohoo:

Ok the French Sub is ready for paint ... I had to clean the rudders & dive planes ... dern camera shows everything ... :skipper

Ready for Paint ... sitting pretty on the Dry dock ... :woohoo:

Now the Greman Boat .... glued all this on ...

Primed the Boat ...

Working on prop area ...

New Rudder ...

Just waiting for the glue to dry .... Then off to the paint shop and ready for Champaign bottle .... :captain

That's an interesting disclamer, colors and SHAPES may vary. I get the colors but shapes?

Found out what the disclaimer is ... Funny thing happened on the way to the Forum ... the Box art is labeled properly ... But in my research ... hmy: (Very Important ) ... :hmmm

The instructions are wrong ... It's so hard to get good Help now days ... :captain

Thanks James see previous post ... the subs are labled different on the destructions ... on searching for the colors to paint ... the pictures are backwards in the sheet ... Oh well ... :drunk

AL righty then ... Here's the low down ... So much happening lately that I'm being pulled apart by my customers, my family, & life in general ... So I've painted the subs ( Flat black ) I'm going to dry brush some gray on top of the black & put the decals on tonight the Subs will be finished.

I just left my interface cable to the computer at work so I can't up load the photos of my subs ... they are looking very well and will be finished tonight proof around 10:00 Am Tomorrow ... Sorry best I can do ... :woohoo: :hmmm Photos will have date stamp in bedded in Pics ... :salute

I know I've been having lots of issues with Tech lately ... He's some Smartphone photos ...

I just found out that when the Smartphone lens has a thumb print on it the photos suck ... Now in the research dept. I found last night nothing in the box or destructions that mention where decals go ... Looking for a photo now ... :captain

Can ya'll answer the question ??? I think what I circled in red goes on the sail of model ... then the smaller number & patch goes on the base as all I see is a number on the sail ... of either Boat ... :hmmm :idonno :salute

Sorry but cant read the decals. Could you maybe write what they say? From what I can find these kits are generic and could represent almost any sub.

Thanks James ... I found the photo of the S194 and I blew it up some the U28 I think is a patch or squadron marking it will go right where the griffon is ... then the S177A will be lower on the Sail centered I think ... I was going to get the decals on and My Micro-set has vanished into thin air ... the Micro-Sov I have ... so after soaking my decal I decided to bring some Micro-set Home tonight ... and do a Proper Job on these boats ... I'll post picture in about 2 hours after I get to the Shop ... :salute :captain

Okay I got to the shop this morning and all the stuff hit the fan .... It hasn't really let up yet, But I managed to get the photos uploaded ... :captain

One thing I noticed in my research ..... the little part at the front of top sail ... is upside down ... but this is the way the destructions showed it going on ...

They were finished last night wife was in bed no decal placement in instructions so this morning I looked on the net found where to put the decals on the German Sub ... I'm at home now putting the decals on ... Will have them done in about a hour ...

That Leaves the numbers S743C & V54 for another German one ??? ... I wonder because I find plenty of photos of the Rubis-class Submarine as far as I can see there aren't any numbers on any of the French Boats ... So I'm just going to go take the final photos of Her
