2026 - What are you scale modeling plans?

My plans? Start and/or finish all the ship models I'd held off on while building all my armor. Finish all the aircraft that I started last year, as well as some I started this year. Maybe even get a few more vehicles started again to fire up the Maddog Manufacturing Motor Pool.

i built this a couple of years ago and i was thinking , after my cut away Fiat ,l what about a bit of a re design of this thing. , super paint finish, mud guards/fenders, lights, some better wheels, Some chrome etc :)

You may wonder why i am repeating old builds but remember i auctioned off all the Italeri cars for charity so i dont have them anymore.

Having just completed a wood and metal San Francisco Cable Car model, my next project is to build and detail the Italeri Bugatti 35B that I bought just after the kit was released. That is my main 2026 project.
Followed Paddy's build on this forum with interest, builds on other forums, magazines YouTube videos and talking to other model makers who have built it, plus obtaining the Haynes book I am just about ready to go ! I think ?

I always photo in high res as I also do magazine writing that demands it.
Oh well. I did try !

Anyway, at least I let it be known what this year's project is, in line with the actual gist of this thread.

I presume your latest version (35B) is the one with lights ?. I have that as well so its going to be really interesting to follow your build. I have also had to produce pictures of a minimum of 2000px so i always save a set in 1000px as well for BB's,

The 35B I have is the original version like your original build without the lamps and fenders etc. The kit is a bit weird in that a spare wheel carrier is in the kit but no spare wheel and tyre. It can be left either off or on the car to suit the model makers taste as I would guess that when raced sometimes the carrier was removed and at other times maybe not.

The high end auction sites like Bonhams are a brilliant source for comprehensive multiple photo references for many classics going under the hammer !

There's really no point in uploading full size images as the website does resize them to fit the area it has for display. Would love to see your work if you can reduce the size a bit.
Here's a link that might help you.
I've also installed some software on the site that is supposed to help with large upload but there are still limits in pixel sizes.

I always resize my photos to 1280x960 which is big enough to show fully on a thread but reduces file sizes to about 300k. My build files are a touch smaller but again use the full width of the page to show as much as possible online.
They also load a whole lot faster than a lot of folks images due to the smaller file sizes.

Mine are 1000 wide which is a std Nikon Studio resize , as uploaded from the camera they are 28.3 MB each (6000 x 4000) RAW :)

I also know someone else with large photographs designed for publication. I will offer you the same as I did for him. If you send me the photos (via e-mail or some type of messenger) I will resize them and even add a watermark for you. If this interests you, we can discuss privately. I am sure your work will be appreciated. By the way, if you look up the first use of that 'emoticon' it was on one of my threads where I kept describing work but now showing it! I can vouch that these guys simply want to see the work.
