I had never seen the trainer version before this kit. Had to buy it when I saw it in the hobby store on the shelf.

Start up pic!

I started gluing a few things together (wings, engines) and test fitting some parts. Man, this thing is orange!

The interior is not made for the trainer version, there's a tank and a bulk head that shouldn't be there (where the trainers seat should be) so I'll try and work around that

Also, I added some detail to the gear bays and set the landing gear in place

Had a few with floats but they were all biplanes and I didn't feel like tackling rigging this year!

Thanks Gary! that orange is annoying! i should be able to get some of that covered up for next time!

did a little work improving the cockpit area with little bits of junk!

and added some detail to the gear wells and attached the nacelles

Got a bit more done this evening...

pit painted and washed

fuse together

wings on

and canopies. These required quite a bit of fiddling!

Got to get the seams filled and sanded so i can paint this a less offensive orange colour!!

I'm not sure the actual shade of orange paint is that much less painful :facepalm

That green/orange combo could make me seasick No offense intended :S
