I've tried the post shading but on mine it looks like just that......post shading. Weathering can be a tricky thing.I've always been a post shade type of guy, Preshading gets lost because I have such a heavy hand with painting.
Thanks Eric. Paint was super thinned down and applied while using a lamp for reflective purposes on the surfaces. I use that method to apply paint in a very thin coats as the paint dries almost as soon as it hits the surface. That Schmitt is looking sweet Joe...great paint job!
Thanks Mike!Very nice!
It took me a few years to get my mottle method down to a place where I felt comfortable with it but man.......wouldn't it be great if we could learn alot quicker sometimes. lolI'd say you're on target.
Thanks bud. I should be caught up to where I'm currently at by tomorrow here. Didn't want to bore anybody with the finer details of the build up to this point. I'll finish the WIP here for you guys in the upcoming progress reports though.
Thanks Mike!Nice work!
Thanks Bob. I haven't had any peel on me yet thankfully. Was it while removing a mask?I've only used the Vallejo gloss a couple of times and they don't seem work too well. I had mine peal on me. I'm sure I did it wrong by someone's standards but it remains, I throw rocks at it.
Looking good.
Thanks Mike!! So far......I'm happy with it. Fingers crossed bro.Very striking, I dig it.
