Paul,
Before using the Turpenoid oderless thinner/oil paint method make sure your model has a clear coat on it first to protect the paint. I have used Turpenoid before on unprotected enamel paint before and got away with it because the Turpenoid is very mild but its best to clear coat the model first in case you would want to remove the oil paint. I have had the best results by using a gloss clear coat with oil paint, flat clear coats will work too but you might have trouble removing the oil paint if the need should arise.
For adding oil streaks just add a few dabs of raw oil paint with the tip of a toothpick on the panel line where you want the oil streaks to come from and then with a paint brush dampened with some Turpenoid touch the oil paint and move the paint brush backward in the direction of the airflow and you will have a realistic looking oil streak. Oil paints dry very slowly which makes them easy to work with if you want to add or change what you have done but once you have the look you want you can speed up the drying time of the oil paint with a hair dryer.
