This concludes the pouring of excess LPP on the Bottom Gun base. Now the REAL fun begins! :yipee:

The actual sea floor is black, as no light reaches that depth. I started with OD green and I am hoping varying shades of greens and gray-green wash will show some relief and texture without drawing the eye away from the sub model. the lobster boat wreck and killer whale models are just for "Wow factor". Perhaps USS Guitarro is running shallow for this build.

The catch is, as I wash the porous tile grout, chunks come off, showing white below. As I write, there is a generous coat of Future curing on the base in the Nut Department. I'm not good at washes. Small tonal changes are hard to appreciate, and it's time consuming.

Thanks again for looking in!
