M3 Lee Lulubelle

Jim Belushi, he's John Belushi's less funny brother.

I'd have to carve about 35 lbs off this frame and maybe a couple of inches to make a plausible Bogie.

@RichB 1:30 scale??? :frantic:

Ah ok, not a big name over here but i think i know the guy from the Blues brothers so i am guessing he was a tank guy in a tv show ?

He played the lead role of MSgt Joe Gunn in the 1995 TV movie remake of the 1943 movie Sahara. Humphrey Bogart played the lead in the original.

@moon puppy You might be able to find a passable Bogie head from the likes of Hornet to graft onto a suitably attired US tank crew figure. If anyone gets excited about the likeness you could say it was his stunt double standing in for him while the film crew was blocking the scene and setting up the camera positions.

Cheers,

I got a seal coat of Aqua gloss and noticed sprue gates on the 75 gun housing. So I broke out the Mr Surfacer 500!

Will touch up that paint and seal it in again in prep for the stickers. Is LuluBelle close to the finish line after how many attempts and years??? :frantic:

Stickers on! :soldier
The gloss coat blended in all that shading and I played with Mission Paints OD faded 2 and 3, I don't think they are supposed to be used in some sort of "system" of faded OD, just different flavors of OD...I'll fix this with filters, washes and such.

I've been wondering about that, do I have the barrel mounted wrong? Elevation works but I can glue it in place if need be.
