Not at all! The Yahu panel is for the Havoc as well as the guns for their turrets. Adding the Flogger and Tiger II products from the same vendor unlocked an extra 20% discount.Wait a minute, you got some F5 gear? There's a Havoc feeling neglected somewhere!
Shades of girl math slipping in here, "If my favourite store is having a sale I have to buy more or I'm losing money."Not at all! The Yahu panel is for the Havoc as well as the guns for their turrets. Adding the Flogger and Tiger II products from the same vendor unlocked an extra 20% discount.
BIG difference is that I chose things I needed as opposed to random crap simply to fill the bill. As it stands the turret guns were free plus I got free shipping (which admittedly wasn't much as the hobby shop is in the East coast of the US as I am).Shades of girl math slipping in here, "If my favourite store is having a sale I have to buy more or I'm loosing money."
This isn't soldering tape but there is one which is perfect for that. This is high-temp tape. Used to hold iron-on patterns in place while applying under high heat and pressure. I will be testing it for soldering as I simply want it to hold until the solder flows.Soldering Tape? all these years, all these scars, no one ever told me!![]()
That looks like the tape we use to mask off the polished parts of bracelets that need to stay polished when we do a brushed finish on the other parts. It is generally pretty tough though it doesn't stick super well. We also order it in different widths to fit different parts that have to be covered. This isn't soldering tape but there is one which is perfect for that. This is high-temp tape. EDIT: Upon closer inspection, both have the same 250°C/480°F heat resistance. I know, I know, I wrote 450°F!
This one clearly states soldering among other things. click to see Amazon page:

Awesome, I will try it for that too! That looks like the tape we use to mask off the polished parts of bracelets that need to stay polished when we do a brushed finish on the other parts. I will take some photos at work.
One thing about it is that it does NOT work around curves. Straight line is fine. That stuff doesn't stretch or give any at all since it is some kind of Mylar. I will be using it on some bracelets to day and will take some photos of the process.Awesome, I will try it for that too!
Who is the author?I know the author fully researches his stuff though based on threads in Face Book. I got these at 30% off and free shipping, and signed by the author.
I have this set as well James. Excellent profiles and info...love the art style. My only complaint is the sections given to a what if 1946 + alternative history. The second volume has some 20 pages dedicated to it.got these in the mail yesterday. I think a bit too expensive, but still pretty interesting.
