Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Well-- in the spirit of the Dave Harper campaign, and considering my Gato sub has come along so easily, I thought about trying something else. Having recently read a book on the Marine Sherman tanks in the Pacific, I figured I'd try my hand at one...not sure if I will get to it right away but would like to...we'll see!

I also have paints for the Dewoitine, Gato sub, and Matilda tank.

Good haul today. Really my wallet has to stop buying me gifts :D

A LOT of resin! Note several doubles and triples, some of which I may sell off later.

Oh my... :blink very nice stuff you got there Saul B) (y) .

James 3X Mustang :eek:hmy: :eek:hmy: ...
I realy like that RoG He-111 I saw Teds review in SAMI, great kit and not expensive.

All the best!
Dusan.

Not the smartest move unless a divorce is what I am after!

OK, it is not mine, click the picture to see who bought all these!

Holy crud...for a minute there, I thought I'd have to check the NY papers for your obit!! I would have missed our chats on Yahoo!

What the...?

"Repetition is the death of art" or " Practice makes perfect"

I'm on the fence.

Cheers,

You had me worried for a moment Saul.
He has too many mustangs, should give me a Spit to even them out :D

Oh, Dave- what hath thou wrought?

For the record, the mustang is the beige vanilla ac of the universe to me. Never, never, never shall I waste the time to paint one of these tedious, hackneyed things silver. FART!

THREE spitfires? :blink what the hell will that dude do with three spits?

18 p-51 ok but that shitload of spitfires is madness! :silly:

in all honesty - that's completely insane!

but i'm not much better - i just bought panzer38(t) number eight!

one Tristar 38(t) B
two Tristar 38(t) E/F
three Tristar 38(t) G
one DML 38(t) G
(not to forget my Tamiya Marder III)

unbuilt in my stash! two more being built and done!

and today i got myself the Trumpeter 38(t) E/F ... seems like i have a crush for the Panzer38(t)

(andy - don't you dare! do not ask the question from hell! don't do it!)

trumpeter38t.jpg

the parts look strangely familiar, they remind me of the Tristar offering although construction was simplified and the tracks are links 'n lengths ... sooner or later we will see if the quality of the kit reaches Tristar and DML!

I rather have 8 panzer 38(t) than one monster-tank (like the E-100 or Maus)
well just getting my leg number 2 finished for my walker and thats enough for me, build the same kit 3 ore 12 times is not for me (only have 5 Cmk volkswagens.....but different variants)

Hey! Not all were in a silver finish. I have quite a few Mustangs but not 18 of the same exact kit! This makes for an interesting addition to an old thread though...

Let's return this thread to Latest Acquisitions.
