"Rare Find" 🤭...Wow. The Covid gouging just keeps on and on and on 🤣

That price is a "Dream on McDuff" price. I have seen finished ( I mean REALLY NICELY FINISHED) Garage Kit figures that are usually a production number of 40 to 50 at the most AND that finished figure is done by a well known name, AND it has been out of production for a number of years, go for a price from $1200 to $2k. I have several that are out of production that were quite popular and that folks are looking for them that will bring an unfinished price of $500 compared to the $150-$200 they brought when new. These are not recasts, and are in perfect condition. Have not tried to do anything with any of them as I am not where I want to be with painting skills yet.

After my fight with this thing today I'm thinking the builder of the Etsy 1,632 dollar AND 71 cent Tserasivich model didn't charge enough 🙃

Trumpeter does weird things, like omitting detailed parts that could easily be seen. Then, choosing to make this winch an eight piece assembly that won't be seen at all once the secondary turret guns are in place.
It's in there, though 🫡

Yep, Trumpeter gave us all the internal plumbing on the Thunderbolt for the superchargers. Interesting lesson on how the aircraft was configured but dang!

Jumping around adding crane booms and working on the ship's boats. I'm doing what I can to improve their look (the boats) the steam launch's are ok, I guess. There is no hope for the rest of the boats in this kit. I'll just paint em up stick em on and not fret over it.

Hey Tim, if I could suggest something. Let's add a bit to those block and tackles on the booms. Knowing how you're going to finish this those things deserve a bit more than just a 2d flat of PE I would think.

Still it is becoming a neat looking build Tim!
There is a new 1/350 kit of the Pennsylvania that really looks nice, but the PRICE! I am just going to skip it.

Is it a Very Fire kit?
Speaking of price, I'm starting to look at the offerings in 1/200 scale.
