In full scale the dipole antennas were 0.50 inches/12.7 mm in diameter. In 1/24 scale that converts to 0.020 inches/0.50 mm.

If you can't find brass wire that thin, guitar strings will work.

I know you see Lego here. A buddy who owns hobby store is an ace with 3D printer. Due to size of model, guy I'm building it for likes this idea.

So doing a lot of engine work for not being able to see them. Want to make as accurate as possible.
We all do it, the SE5 has a really nice looking motor but it's going to be closed up except for the valve covers. I know, why bother? Because we know it's in there.
