1/700 Aircraft. I'm stuck in "Teeny" Gear! Zorn!

My friend, Mark, up in Cleveland, Wisconasin heard about my 1/700 scale Flying Boat-ness, and asked me to send him "A few" when I got them done. He does a lot of the research for my Nautical Oddity projects, and he's an enthusiastic waterline scale modeler.

So, today I shipped them to him. He's a Coast Guard vet, a former EMT and I gave him my Word. Sometimes it takes me a while, but I always keep my Word. Then, I forgot the sandbars/Islands I had made up! The Eagle already has his package. Gimme a "Duh" guys.

Yeah, apple trying to change the standard of images. He can change the format it's saved in or I can see if we can support uploading.

Browser Limitations: Major web browsers (like Chrome, Firefox, and Edge) do not natively render HEIC files.

• Server-Side Requirements: XenForo relies on PHP image processing libraries (GD or ImageMagick) running on your server, which often lack proper HEIC handling or on-the-fly conversion tools.

• Extension Mismatch: Simply renaming a .heic file extension to .jpg or .jpeg does not change the internal encoding, leading to failed uploads. [1, 2, 3]

Workarounds and Solutions

• • Change iPhone Settings: Users can force their iOS devices to capture and transfer standard JPEGs by going to Settings > Camera > Formats and selecting Most Compatible. [1]
  • Automatic Transfer: Ensure the iOS setting for transferring photos to a Mac or PC is set to Automatic, which usually converts HEIC to JPEG during standard web uploads. [1]

Yessir, but I disdain all things Apple, and I don't want their photo formatting program to resize and reformat the pictures.

The Apple user can make a change on their device to make their images work with the non Apple world. Hope they can do it without having to buy new cables and other things "Apple".
