You have a perfect mask line with the front white stripe. PIck a spot, cut it off, reattach it (correctly) blend it, mask at the stripe and repaint.
On my Pak 40 build I attached the muzzle brake to the barrel before putting it in place. OOPS! It wouldn't go through the gun shield. Had to cut it back off. Finally once I had attached the barrel assembly to the carriage and had everything lined up I could reattach the muzzle brake to the end of the barrel.
It happens.

Metal barrel, ah!
Heat then cold usually breaks down CA on metal.
If you want to be safe with the heating, heat water to about 190°-200° F maximum and stick the tip and end in, and swirl it for a count of 10 then ice the join. The hot/cold should break down the CA holding the tip. Boiling water or too long immersion can make the plastic part shrink.
If you want to be a bit safer start at 170° F and work your way up. I always use a thermometer to monitor the water temp and it makes a huge difference.

Why is the muzzle brake oriented with its openings up and down instead of to the sides?

Probably because I'm an idiot. Doubt I can fix it now, but then again its never leaving my shelf again so it is what it is

It's a metal barrel...I may be able to pop the brake off but I could also mangle it in the process...I might try it but again maybe not. 🤷‍♂️

@Jeeves, don't bother! Dr. Robert Menasherob, author of many IDF books, has stated that this has happened in the IDF. Make sure to print that, from FarceBook, and keep in case anyone else says something!

Why do you think I gave you the ammo to push back? Seriously, I was unaware that the rush to get the items into the battler meant some ended up that way. You now have someone who is EXTREMELY knowledgeable on the subject backing you. however, it if was a WWII tank where they had time to prepare for a battle...
;)😉😜
