The color is definitely black as there was an order about marking colors. I sent a copy of that order to Echelon Fine transfers, I can try to look it up again.

I need to get back on my 251 build. I have been busy for the last week or so and it has set idle. I need to find a little more info on the Maybach engine in it to get the details right. 1/16th scale means you have to get the details right because it is big enough to see the details.
On a side note, I ran across a short on Farcebook of an M3 halftrack backing out of a transport container. The tracks were definitely all "RUBBER" just like in the kit. The video focused on the tracks flexing as it backed down a ramp.
