Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

I'd love to see that setup!
Just ignore the paints 'n stuff - just stored there when I am not airbrushing.

I got my Mercedes IIIa motor yesterday from Aircraft in Pixels. Yes it is pricey, but OMG what an amazing work of art.

Designed and 3D printed by the amazing Mr Bo Monroe this little gem would allow dioramas of maintenance going on. If I could figure where to put the oil and how to set up the gas and run it I am sure it would do just that. Perfect for any collector or insane modeler.

Impressive! What scale is it James?

I went to Wonderfest this last weekend. Mainly to just see what was out there and I was able to pick up these items which I had been thinking about getting. Met with several friends there and took photos of the builds that FSM wanted to take photos of. I only had my phone camera as I decided that I didn't want to be loaded down and the phone cam seems to work quite well in areas that aren't all that well lit.

Here are the items I picked up. I got a super deal on the airbrush. Couldn't pass it up and it was the main reason I went up there.

I was lucky enough (through a couple of model friends) to get a special access visit to the BNA Wharehouse, which is only about 30 mins from where I live. I tried to get through all the aisles in the whare house but there was no way - there was so much stuff........finally I wheeled my shopping cart around to the checkout and put my 'merch' through. I was pretty conservative but there was so much of everything from every brand that i should have gone with a list :smack:. I got some paints, plants for dios, tools and the new Miniart tool set.

A bonus though, on checkout they gave us all a pick of a free kit from 3 choices - Panzer 4 comand vehicle, hetzer and a T-55.
Being on a modern binge I picked the T-55. Its a special naval version that they only built a few of but I will dump the 'pink' stuff and use it as a T-55m in the MIDDLE EAST.

Cool Ian! I am now firmly in the 1/16th scale building and loving the complexity of my Pak 40 build.

Not my greatest of acquisitions. A couple of days ago we went to an other antique place and this kit was there for $19.9, so I bought it. The only interior parts are the "instrument panel" and a seated pilot figure. I'm going to use leftover P-51 parts from the A-36 A/M kit. It will be built gear up as that there is no gear well detail either.
