Be wary that HKM screwed up the arrangement of the exhaust under the cowls.

I posted about this and the fix isn't so hard if you're willing not to have the cowl flaps open.

They simply copied the incorrect arrangement used on the Lewis Flying Legends Museum example which was done for convenience to keep the airframe airworthy. click the image:

The fix, if the cowl flaps are closed, is simply to leave one of the exhausts off the starboard formed fixed cowl cover and use one of the plain movable cowl flaps to graft on a formed shape with the omitted pipe added underneath. The end result should be as below:

All these decades later and AMT had it right all along! AMT engine cowl covers showing the port (on right of photo) with a, from outboard to inboard, exhaust ejector pipe arrangement of 5-0-2-0-2-0-0-3. Zeros are plain movable cowl flaps. Note that the starboard side arrangement has, from outboard to inboard, 4-2-0-2-1-2-0-3.

Well Saúl, I also picked up the HK kit this weekend as it was $55 off Sprue Bros discount price. Squadron was there and had a table of slightly damage kit boxes. The only thing wrong with the HK kit that I could see was the plastic wrap was ripped up on one corner. I am impressed with the kit though in looking at it. After seeing all the little variances you have been showing in your builds, I can understand them being confused on the exhaust pattern.
Anyway here are the items I picked up.

Turns out HK did a real subtle "Tin Canning" on the surfaces like WingNut did with the Lancaster though not as pronounced.

This box had an obvious hole and damage in it, but everything inside is just fine.

There are corrections and side panels files on Cults 3d.

Geez, I tried searching Cults 3D for "A-20G Havoc" and A-20 Havoc" and one of the results is this (but nothing for the Douglas A-20 Havoc):

Oh and Paul, the only ingress egress point for this pretend/training tank is the turret hatch.
Thanks for the links and photos James. I think both Saúl and I thought you were talking about the Havok.
As to access, there is a hatch over the engine compartment on the rear.

The pods are also such that they can go on either side.

I had known about this variant for years (from the 80's when I was really into collecting VW's)
Imagine my surprise several years ago when these photo showed up. It is definitely original except for the engine. Too many little things all over confirm that it is what it is supposed to be.

Okay a few things I have or have coming.
No idea why I am buying models, but hard habit to break.
