SOME LIGHT READING

Brokeneagle

Master at Arms
Currently enjoying some light reading................ Does anyone else like the new comics?
I really love how they have become so much more professional in content and presentation.
Just finished the StarWars Darth Vader Vol 2 (set between movies 3& 4 - hard covers, great illustration work and a solid story that fills in the gaps after DV became the man at the end of movie 3.

Really neat stuff!!!

I have been reading Eric Hammel’s SIX DAYS IN JUNE about the IDF in the 1967 war, and behind that I have Moshe Dayan’s SINAI DIARY about his experiences in the 1956 war

I'll have to check the Darth Vader ones. I love Star Wars still. I use to read the cheap paper backs and enjoyed them. I'm still trying to get through Harry Turtledoves novels of WW1-WW2 alternative history.

Nice! I read that Darth Vader comic! It was great! I have been also enjoying the Firefly series of Graphic Novels as well.
Sounds interesting, I have the series on DVD and the movie (season 2) but I did not know there were Graphic novels. Can you post a picture of one of the novels?

Probably not as light as my reading though:)

I'll see if I can shoot pics of the books. I did lose one: "The Shepherd's Tale" or something like that, but I have all the rest. I'm hoping the latest one comes out soon. Yeah, i have the series on DVD as well as "Serenity" the movie. Man, what a fantastic series that was! Too bad they cancelled it so quickly!
