Year End Review 2015

Wow, some tremendous work competed here on the Alliance! I am humbled to be included in such exalted and magnificent company.

Now that everyone has seen high quality; it is time to give you a dose of quantity.

I didn't do as many aircraft as armor but then again, I did do a few more 'eclectic' selections to round things out. I'll start with the aircraft I did first:

1/72 scale Hobby Boss Easy Kit F-86 Sabre:

1/72 scale Frog Gloster Meteor F Mk. IV:

And finally, my 1/72 scale Hasegawa UH-1D Huey Hog:

Yeah, that's all the aircraft for this year.

Here's some ships and a couple of other unique models I finished up...

First, the 1/72 scale Saturn V Rocket:

Next, the Legend of Sleepy Hollow Headless Horseman:

And, even tough I didn't keep them, I did complete this set of Bugs and Troopers for a Starship Troopers Game for a friend, so I'm including this set as one 'model':

Here's the three ships I finished this year:

Twenty-nine models (including the Bugs and Troopers set) this year; that's pretty respectable considering I've been away from the workbench for the equivalent of four or five months due to a large job and two trips. I'm pleased with all these and I'm hoping to get many more done next year. I believe that at least three to five of my current WIP's may even be done by the end of January next year. That will be a good start to 2016.

Okay, enjoy the parade of finished models from Maddog Manufacturing; I hope you enjoy the show. Thanks for looking in, comments are welcome.

I only have two here ... but lots of train engines repaired

then like MP I could trip on what's on the bench ...

Damn Duke, you have your own military just with this year's builds. :rotf And they look pretty sharp too.

Don't worry Gerry...you still built twice as many as I did! :pinch:

Mark is single handedly going to raise oil prices with all the syrene he consumes in a year. :hmmm

Beautiful work all around guys.

Takes something like this to make one realize how long a year really is! I haven't been productive as of late and didn't think I'd have many finished builds, but then I remembered I had the summer off- got loads done back then. Here we go...

Thanks Bob, Helios, and Luiz! I'm still a lot lower than m y usual, but then being away from the bench for about four months can curtail production.

Thanks Sharkman and Ausf!Ausf, I hope not! I can barely fill the tank as it is! LOL!

Andy, there may not have been many, but you sure upheld the quality! As for doing things for others, that is excellent and I'm sure you've made a lot of people happier for the things you did for them.

Jeeves, I remember many of those and seeing them again brings back a grin! It was fantastic seeing them the first time and just as thrilling to see them again, along with all the excellent models I missed. Way to go!

Dave, that is a lot of magnificent models as well. I'm thrilled to see so many in my favorite scale too. I also have a Pegasus Models Maus; I do need to get that one done someday....

These are all magnificent works gentlemen! Keep them coming!

Jeeves' sig/avitar makes me want to build something to slap some nose art on. Love it. :drinks

Thanks for looking Mark!

Helios-- that's from our awesome resident artist Chuk for my prize from the Call to Arms campaign- love love love it :)
