Wreaking Havoc 3: A-20G-20-DO Moanin' Gus

A-20G-20-DO, Serial 43-9711, code 5C*M, named Moanin' Gus, was the only ETO Havoc with a skull face motif inspired by the PTO aircraft.

I wasn't sure to include this subject but fate intervened and this kit landed on my porch!

List of things specific to this build, making the second type (as in the A-20B/C kit) cowlings as the kit includes the final type. Adding the wing tip running lights with the rear-facing formation lights. Also, the separate heater air intake scoops. At least this is too early for the full clear wingtips.

Facing the challenge of converting the late cowling covers of the kit I have to the intermediate one (that comes in the A-20B/C kit that I do not have) The goal is to have the late cowl (inserted into an intermediate cowling on the right side of the photos) to end up like the left as I am doing for my A-20B. This is the port cowling which is indeed different from the starboard:
