Greetings from a very rainy Colby,KS.

I hope and pray any of our members,and their families will be safe and warm during this storm. Guess who the chump is that is going into the Denver area with a load? :facepalm
 
Pack the long johns!

When I was doing tech school at the old Lowry AFB in Denver, we got up one morning and it was like 60 degrees, nice for January. I asked the "rope" to leave our field jackets at the dorm since it's so nice. He told me it'll be snowing that afternoon.
Sure nuff, the little twerp was right. :soldier
Crazy weather out there.

You do have great timing Chad, it was 60 here yesterday in Ft. Collins :D

For some reason,I do not think I shall make my 0830 delivery appointment tomorrow. :frantic High winds and snow do not mix well.
 
Be safe Chad. The was a report of a twister touch down east of you. I think the county your in is on the the tornado watch as we are until 10 pm. Weather service says blizzard conditions are the really start 0600 in the time zone your at.

For a time,it was heavy rain that was on and off. Thankfully,the winds had slowed down some after I had parked for the day. Right now,it is minor snow showers here at the Petro. But the winds have picked up. :frantic

I sent a message to dispatch earlier saying I am not going to make deliver today. Per The Weather Channel,it is much worse in Colorado. I guess I can finish putting together my M51.

I do wish it wasn't so windy. When I was home earlier this month,I stripped down an M3A3 Stuart I had built back in 2003. Two days ago,I sprayed the OD on it. I would like to spray on the gloss for the decals.

Oh yez.The USAF tech school ropes. :D I remember them well. Some were great others were a (censored)
 
Got that right Ed. Staying put for the day. Forecast calls for 8-12 inches of snow. :frantic That is on top of sleet/freezing rain we are getting now. If we get a bunch of snow,won't be fun cleaning the snow off the truck and trailer.

Yes, thunder with snow happens around here. Snowing pretty good all day here. I heard maybe by midnight it should move out. No school today. Everything else is shut down.

I would have loved to go farther than I did,but those cross winds took a lot out of me yesterday.
