Just made the 5 hour trip from Vancouver back to my hometown over the mountain passes. We're way north of you Chad but major wind storm going on there mixed with a lot of rain. The very top of the mountain pass was near white out conditions but only lasted for half an hour or so. Made it home safely. Stay safe everyone.

Got that right Ed. Staying put for the day. Forecast calls for 8-12 inches of snow. :frantic That is on top of sleet/freezing rain we are getting now. If we get a bunch of snow, won't be fun cleaning the snow off the truck and trailer.

Roger that! I miss the days of OTR. Weather, not so much. Hunker down & slap the styrene some :good:

Well Chad I hoped you were at Presto off exit 17.

Yes, thunder with snow happens around here. Snowing pretty good all day here. I heard maybe by midnight it should move out. No school today. Everything else is shut down.

Stay warm.

Hey how are our friends in Texas and east of here looks like there is/has been some bad storms?

Thanks Jeff for your concern, We only received more wet stuff, here in Greenville, But over in Dallas there were some rigs blown over, tornados in the panhandle, but not a lot of damage. Here two photos of the runoff ditch/creek that was dry yesterday

This is turning out to be the third wettest year on record & headed to #1 :good:

I have to wonder if some parts of the storm were much ado about nothing. Around thirty miles or so east of Limon,CO,there was hardly any snow on the ground. I am on the eastern side of Denver now. It looks like Kansas got more snow. :idonno
