It is called the why project ....... because it was designed to make you ask WHY?
Think of it like this .......
ONE SIMPLE WORD
ONE SIMPLE QUESTION
NO SIMPLE ANSWER
WHY?
There are actually alot more images such as the entire gate building that the train would have come through but the important part is the story that the people tell....... for this build there were 128 figures all in 1/35 scale several were cast by myself 5 of those are sondercommando that was the only way to get them was to rescult and modify existing figures .I had to teach myself mold making and resin casting , using a two piece latex mold .
After the project was done the mold for the sondercommando was destroyed I wanted to insure that it would never be used again ......... because this build was entirely too emotionally taxing.
It now resides in a holocust museum abrest the entry way ......... the build was dedicated to an un-known gentelman who i met as a walk in at a model competition. After speaking with him for a while he told me briefly of his time in the camps before liberation .
I spent the next 5 years planning this build in my head .
May you look upon this and ask yourself.............. WHY ?
