isn't that a flamingo flammpanzer?

http://www.achtungpanzer.com/flam.htm

those thingies on the fenders are [strike]nebelwurfbecher[/strike] IIRC! no - not nebelwurfbecher ... s-mine throwers!

I hope those boxes are well armored. One pass by a flyin' think and it's roasted marshmallow time.

Greetings and Salutations Folks

That Ladies and Gents is a SdKfz 122 Flammpanzer II, of which about 155 were built/converted between Jan 1940 and March 1942, according to my refs.

If you feel like a challenge, Alan Hobbies of St Petersburg do this wee fella in 1/35th.

Kit no.3510

Re:Whatisit ? Nuts'n'Bolts 24

Hi Jenny, A good reference for this tank is the Nuts'n'Bolts #24 PzKphw II Ausf D/E. Good photo's and drawings of this tank. Even thou there were not many built lots of variations of the tank appeared. And it's a good excuse to have another good reference book! HTH. Dean

Re:Whatisit ? Nuts'n'Bolts 24

Yeah ;) A little birdy told me the whole lot are being released in all new moulds too ;) .

That is why I thought it must have been the same chassis as the Pz IID and Marder II D
