What happened to 2001?

My grandmother took me to see 2001 "A space odyssey" back in the 70's when I was knee high to a grasshopper, I didn't really understand the film ( and didn't even after I read the book....) BUT the spaceships were great and I dreamed of what we would be doing in 2001......
Well 2001 has come and gone, not what I hoped would happen did, but at least I have the "Odyssey" and the space plane of my childhood that I can dance around the loungeroom to the "Blue Danube", till my knees start hurting that is....

@Darkhorse, you're still missing a few more rockets. SpaceX is a reality but this one... Well, now I understand why the Hitachi model kit of Jeff Bezos Blue Origin doesn't come with an erection stand!
