Well provisioned! Lil chuk builds some targets

Many thanks! Washes up next- dust and moss between the cobbles, dark tones on the wall. Need to add the iron railings but they're fairly fragile! Flocked grass- might make up an electrostatic applicator for that. What a little 110-volt shock every now and then? :gogo

I'm thinking some of the well damage may be weathered as if left over from 1914-1918, with some raw, new wounds. It's fun to develop a story as you go.

Cheers!

Didn't have time for a post, but here's a peek at what I got done yesterday. Reposted from the lounge.

Thanks!

I did this work last weekend but only now have had a chance to write it up. This little honey has been keeping us busy- she's Andromeda, Andi or Annie) for short. Pfennig's ego has bloated while I've been paying attention to the new pup- I'll let him call the game this week.

andromeda! a stellar choice for that lovely pup! :mpup

your work and attention to details sets you off so far from other modellers, with each and every update i have to manually put back my dropped jaw in place! outstanding!

B) Great work. The battle damage on the well is excellent.

I love the animated figures in your posts - they are as entertaining as the modelling. :geek

Hi Annie!!! :mpup cute thing...

Fantastic stuff Chuck, yeah the model railroad guys are really taking their craft to a new level, that's where we lost our buddy Ant and his Treemendus self to..

make sure you get some tuffs of grass growing around the base of the wall and in cracks..if you want..

It looks real Chuck! That's my best compliment, and that isn't easy using all the colors you used. To me, it can be pretty, beautiful or other such words, but, if it looks real, that's modeling's hole in one! (y) (y) (y) (y) (y) That's what it is all about! The last photo in particular has a real feeling to it even with the tools and cans in view.

I do all my washes with a black brown oil medium, Raw Umber. Dirt in a tube!

Bob

My thanks to all!

Andy, that grass mat is amazing stuff. A bit pricey, but worth it. The rest of the sheet will be an airfield base for a single-seater some day. Boom and done!

Oh, Laura, you're too kind! Andi is such a sweet dog- we fell asleep together on the couch last night- precious!

Ron and bagge- cheers, mates! :drinks

Thanks, Ian- I used some different techniques on Wendy this week. A new digital brush for inking and a more "painted" styles for colors as opposed to the cell-painted look I've been using to this date. I hope you like! The headless, armless Alpine fig looked weird, so he became me!

Gibbs, that's a great idea- cheers!

Thanks, James- you have no idea just how sweet this little girl is!

Bob, that's the nicest compliment a modeler can get- thanks! "Dirt in a tube"- I love it!

Believe it, Mike! ;)

And loads and loads? :gogo Thanks, Terry - and cheers!
