WALKING TANK-"ALL DONE"UPDATE

Re:WALKING TANK-INSTALLING THE PLUMBING-4-22-10

Thanks Shawn ...

For you comments, :)

Remember this is all in jest, I hope you enjoy it,
and by the way if you need or find any photos that you would like to place you bunker in ...
let me know, I will be more than happy to find "research", because like in the real world,
old photos that are unpublished appear and shed more information on "history".

Take care ... :)

Legionare,
I hope that you are enjoying this as much as I am???
I really do love the olive photo... That's cool and some guy that was out
in the desert way too long came up with that... :silly:
I just wanted to join in and "stir the pot" a little. It's what I do best. ;)
I have plans for a bunch of "Anti-Walker" traps too... (Mind you my artistic
ability ends with stick figures and they aren't even too good).
I'll PM you with a few of my idea's. Just don't have the time for all the
projects that I want to do (although I have a few started and would be fun
to get more done).

Re:WALKING TANK-INSTALLING THE PLUMBING-4-22-10

Lost Legionar,
Feel free to come up with a design for my (walkers) kill markings for the
bunkers and Engineers vehicles.
I can print them on decal sheets and have some fun.

Yup,
Took 3rd in the artillery category.
Were you there??? I was wearing the "Rommel's Rod" tee-shirt (Just like I said I
would). Was hanging out around the large roll up door where my buddy (Roy) who had a table
selling lots of his kits.
That is when I wasn't buying stuff from the vendors, winning raffles and taking pictures.

Re: WALKING TANK-"FEEL THE GROUND SHAKE"-IT'S BACK!!!!

WARNING WARNING!!!!! The "WALKING TANK" is coming back!!

This build got put on the back burner back in May so I could work on my braille project for "Braille Scale Bonanza". Then the desert group build. Then the Marine Corp build. Then "Charle Don't Surf" etc. etc. etc.

Then one day, as I was finishing up the M113, my son Curtis came down to my bench and while watching me he said "Dad when are you going to finish the tank with legs?". So last night I got it down and began to work on it again. No update pictures yet, but soon. Stay tuned "Curtis's Crusher" will be stomping your way soon.

Terry ;)

Re: WALKING TANK-"FEEL THE GROUND SHAKE"-IT'S BACK!!!!

Ok update time!!! All six legs are now built and attached to the center frame and standing unsupported. I have also added a remote control twin 50 cal mount to underside. Here are some pictures of what the beast looks like. Comments and questions welcome. Enjoy!!
