USMC Sherman, Iwo Jima

I've been absent for a while due to work taking a lot of my time. I have been building however. I used DML's M4A2 "Tarawa" for this build.

This is "Demagog" a D Co. tank from the 3rd Tank Battalion on Iwo Jima.

3rd Batt. tanks had a rebar rail welded around the rear deck as well as rebar watercan racks. References show the Marines made their own applique armor from boiler plate.

The wading gear was improvised by the SeeBees using 55 gallon drums. Add ons and applique armor appear in different shades of green.
