During the 6 Day War in 1967, the Israeli army captured repaired, modernized and put into service many captured T-54 & T-55 tanks. These were modernized to Ti-67 standard prior to the Yom Kippur War, and during that conflict Israel captured additional T-54s and T-55s. Ti-67s were withdrawn from active service at the end of the 1980s with many being converted into Achzarit APCs. The Achzarits have been in service with the Israeli Army since at least 1995.
Kit consists of over 310 parts including metal gun, barrel, brass cable, photo-etched parts and individual track links.
