Hi there.

Shalom.

The 28 of Iyyar, 5727 (June 7, 1967)is an extremely moving and personal day for me.

I love this picture of the Israeli paratroopers at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. The original image always brings a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye!

What a day! A day that will be long remembered in Jewish history! On this date Israeli Paratroopers reunited Jerusalem and stood by the Western Wall for the first time in almost 1900 years!

It is a day I devote to my IDF modelling subjects and to remembering the 183 who fell never to rise again in the battle to reunify Jerusalem.

If that wall wasn't so large I'd try to model that scene. Maybe I will anyway.

Cheers from Peter.

Hey Peter
How tall would the wall actually be? Maybe the grouping of figures in 1/48th scale would still evoke enough of the emotion you want to convey?

Hi Brad.

I only build 1/35 scale.

The Wailing Wall is *BIG*! You can see the size in these images. I'd guesstimate it to be about six stories high.

Cheers from Peter
