Don't think I've ever heard of a De Havilland Hornet.

I remember someone else posting about this group before.
 
Ah thats why it took my interest because the sea fury is an unusual subject . The sea fury used the basic (modified) Hawker tempest fuselage and wings , Furies fought in the Korean war in the Royal navy in the ground attack role
The hornet was really the next step on from the Mosquito but entered service in 1946 so missed the war and was already superseded by the jets by the time it entered service, i remember reading Winkle brown said it was the nicest aircraft he ever flew :) A lot of piston engine aircraft had reached near perfection of the design at the time they were scrapped to go back to square one with jets.,

I was wondering about the Sea Hornet but decided to be good. Now looking and seeing the Sea Fury has Canadian Markings I'm wondering, but I already have a Fischers kit of that. Must behave...must behave...
