Well the site is about to change. I started in on this site back in April of 2009. A lot of plastic has gone under the bridge since then. I read on another thread a comment on how much improvement there had been since they had started. So with the launch of a new site comming up I thought it would be interesting to see what eight years of posting, talking and trying new things has produced. So why don't each one of us post pictures of the first and most recent builds and take stock of the progress that we have made while being part of this forum. Should be neat to see.....Here's mine

I haven't been here long, so not much has changed. I'm still a scrub!

Neat idea, Nice progression Chris. Terry they both look great to me.

How about this. First Jeep based on photo my Dad took in Korea.

And this one a couple of years ago

The first jeep was suppose to be freshly washed in the creek bed (actually what Dad had just done to the jeep) but it still totally lacked any depth of color, pin wash, fading or anything.

OK I'll go back in time qa bit and see if I can come up with something...

Man I don't really know how long ago this one has been but I do remember it was a gift from a friend out in Washington state. Back during a time when I couldn't buy glue or anything all of my modeling buddies came through for me.

this one came about the same time (what a horrid camera I had)

I still have this one from about three years ago

I had some pics of a Ju-87G that Tom Wes gave me but that musta got lost in some computer glitches.

The old jeep with the ma deuce actually looks like a gate guard that could be at a reserve center someplace, Bob. It looks grand.

There are quite a bit of difference in those two, T. You can see a marked improvement.

Great idea Terry!

Back in 2010, I was pretty much exclusively posting on ARC. Then one of the MA masters, chukw, posted on ARC about the CTA campaign. That was the first I'd heard of Modelers Alliance, and I've been here ever since. The first CTA was my first campaign and my first completed model on this site...

i wonder what another 6 years will bring.

Well, I found my first posting of completed armor from way back in 2011 when I joined up. The pics are all down s they were linked in from the old LEM site so I'll need to re-upload them again to show them here. I think I also found my first posting of completed aircraft. Again, no pics due to having them hosted on the old LEM. I'll see if I can get them re-uploaded here.
