Holy thread resurrections, Batman (smashes fist into palm…)
So after almost two years my (ancient) Tamiya T34/76 returns to the workbench. To be honest I always intended to get this finished, and given that my StuG is rumbling on quite nicely (pun intended), it seemed logical to drag this old thing back-out and give it the finish it deserves. This afternoon, whilst I was working on the Spitfire (see the thread over at Wesendorf Field), I shot two thin coats of Humbrol ‘Matt Cote’ cut roughly 50/50 with cellulose thinners and a couple of hours later gave it a very light dusting of MIG ‘European Dust’ pigment. Maybe a wee bit too much, but I still want to ‘place it’ in a training setting behind the lines in mid summer ’43.
