some tough times

About two weeks ago my wife, Linda, went into the hospital with some serious health issues. She was there for about five days where they diagnosed her with acute ventricular tachycardia, double pneumonia and a myriad of other things that could have been prevented. She suffers with psoriatic arthritis and one of the meds that she takes is the probable cause of the heart condition.

She gets to where she can't function because her index finger and thumb on both hands become immobile and severe pain in both wrists. I have to do the things for her like cut her food and the things that you and I take for granted. We are both in our late fifties and age does not play favorites and health issues abounds.

Subsequently, I am probably not going to get a chance at modeling as much as I would like but I am bound by my love for her and dedication that I make sure that she has all that she needs when she is not feeling up to par.

I am going to be reading and posting still and am hoping that soon I can get back into the game.

Hope Linda gets better soon Paul. You take care of her and we'll be here for ya sending heart felt prayers. :zen

Thoughts and prayers from Nadia and I to you Both and here's hoping things will improve for Linda soon. At least she had good taste in men and that's paying off for her now if nothing else.

Hope it all works through Paul and she gets better soon! Also, don't forget to take care of yourself as well. If you get all run down you won't be able to take care of either of you.

All my best for you and your sweet lady! I will talk to you soon my friend!

You're not alone, Paul

I quit my job over a year ago to care for my aging parents. They're both suffering from dementia. Caring for your loved ones is not a choice, it's a responsibility. There may be difficult days ahead, but you will find the power to persevere. Keep your head up.
