Sd.Kfz 182 King Tiger

Hello

I would like to submit some photos of my Dragon King Tiger that I have just finished, it is OOB with my first attempt at
a three color camo.

Also first attempt at dot filtering which looks better than the photos show (I think) overall a very nice model to build.

Thanks for having a look

Gatto

Very nice, I can see the effect of the filter well. The tracks and rear end seem VERY clean but that's cool, you nailed the filtering. (y)

That is a fine looking King Tiger, Gatto. If you would like to participate in the Camo Campaign, you'll need to post pictures of an unbuilt kit, with the day and time stamp in the start up thread. The Home page has the current day and time at the bottom, that works quite well for the time stamp, as does a newspaper. Work in progress pictures are encouraged and help keep the campaign fun and interesting to the membership. There's still plenty of time to do another build, looks like you have the tri-tone thing down! (y)

Great looking Tiger, but Mike is right. Get a new kit and show us how it's done I would like to watch. I have moved the thread to up to "Ground Power".

Very swell indeed. If I may make a suggestion - there seems to be a slight sheen to the finish, perhaps you would like to give that spectacular camo job a burst of a really dry matt clear such as Warbird Acrylics or Vallejo. I think that would also help to blend your excellent dot filter effect. Damn fine build regardless.

Very nice build, Gatto! :dude The cammo is looking fine, but I'm with jugjunkie - maybe a little toning down the shine would be cool on such a beautiful looking tank. :) Or perhaps it's just the pics?

Cheers and congrats for a job well done! B)
