Well I went and bought another T-55, even though I have quite a few now, with the AM version as well but thats not the point. I saw this and 2 things grabbed me, the nice boxart and the fact that it's from RFM. I have really grown to love models from RFM and this will be no exception I think.
All I can say is they have MOJO!
From the feel of the plastic, the nice light sand color, the nicely laid out and clear instructions and the fit has always been very good. They also give a good level of detail without going overboard like Dragon do. The price is always cheaper than most of the others as well.
So lets have a look..........................

As you can see the box is nicely loaded and has individual link tracks. I really like their color of plastic and its in the 'goldylocks' zone, not to hard and not to soft (like AFV).
The turret has good texture and correct detail without going overboard, like not having to have the cupola bases.
Nicely detailed weld seams too!

Fully solid, slide moulded barrell with thermal covers - I hate sticking 2 piece barrels these days and having to sand the seam.

and a 3D Printed canvas barrel base cover.

Seperate tracks guards - always better for deailing, wethering and battle damage.

Heres a few images of some of the other details - all very well done.
My only complaint with RFM kits has been the way they construct their chassis. The kits I have purchased all have chassis with multiple parts for assembly while i am pretty sure every other manufacture has a solid piece.
INSTRUCTIONS
These are very clear and easy to read with call -outs and details confirmed with color images.

So there you have it...... I fully admit I am a RFM fan boy!
