Reporting from AMPS Nationals...

Next year's show is back to South Bend. The year after is one of these two sites again because they're willing to lock in good prices with AMPS which is getting harder and harder to do these days

Quite the collection of outstanding builds! Was that @Piet V-2 launch site build?
Do you mean my plastic version ?
Its done and sold.

Or the real thing?
There were a lot build in my country (Netherlands)
you can still find some concrete slabs for the launch pads and other concrete for both the V1 and V2.
We also have plenty of the Atlantikwall left .
:ro:

@Adam
Hey that's your neck of the woods. I might drive up for an overnight there.

Wow, all yall over yonder got some cool comps and conventions. If ever I was to go to one again it would be AMPS. I've heard nothin but good stuff from those.

I see ya got a pic of Rick, howz he doing? Met him at IMPS Seattle 2012. Man, that was a long time ago, HA!

He seems to be in fine shape...I tried getting a photo with him and Rob but I was busy running models between the judging tables and the display tables and our paths didn't cross enough to settle down for a pose...
