Reporting from AMPS Nationals...

Hey folks....

Just got here a few hours ago and was busy running models around between the judging room and the show room. Count last time I heard was around 688 models...haven’t had a chance to take pics yet. Will do later after a visit to my favorite restaurant in college- Perkins.

Show goes until.tomorrow afternoon so I'll be doing a couple sessions of judging.

Nope Doc John is in absentia. Taesung is here, but no AK or AMMO guys. Steve Munsell from Value Gear is in attendance...Rob Riviezzo (Moses from the LEM) is representing the Modeling Insanity podcast and Military Modelcraft International. Gene Bagnoli is still fiery as ever.

The guy between you and John in the first pic looks familiar.

Steve Munsell makes good stuff and lots of it! I have some for sale in my Hobby Shop.

Yessir...in fact other than a couple AK Fantasy paint markers, the only vendor purchase for me was a pack of Steve's Value Gear US stowage in 1/16 for my Sherman and Greyhound...

OK- show pics. Just got home an hour ago-- last I heard, there were over 720 models but I think that is still low- I will update when I see it, but either way we broke the record. I have tons of photos in no particular order....I will try to separate out the dioramas and vignettes from the individual pieces though. I ended up walking away with a bronze and three silver...

There is a lot of really great builds there. Wish I lived closer, would be nice to attend.
